Samsung Galaxy Z Series Ranks No. 1 Among Foldables in Consumer Evaluations Across Five European Countries

[Financial News] Samsung Electronics' foldable smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series, ranked No. 1 in the foldable category in evaluations by leading consumer magazines in five major European countries. 
According to industry sources on the 27th, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra ranked among the top performers in evaluations of foldable smartphones by Italy's Altroconsumo, Spain's OCU, Portugal's DECO PROteste, the Netherlands' Consumentenbond and Belgium's Test Aankoop.
These consumer publications are independent, noncommercial organizations that assess product performance, durability and ease of use through their own laboratory testing. They are regarded as major testing organizations that local consumers consult when choosing products.
In the evaluations, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 tied for first place in the Netherlands and Belgium. In Italy, Spain and Portugal, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 ranked first with 81 points, while the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra took second place with 80 points.
Despite differences in evaluation methods and markets across countries, both products consistently ranked among the top performers in five major European countries.
In particular, both models received the Best of Test award in four countries—Italy, Spain, Portugal and Belgium. The award is given to products that earn the highest ratings in consumer magazine tests, which assess overall performance, durability and ease of use. 
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 series had also performed well in an evaluation by the U.S. consumer media outlet Consumer Reports. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra ranked No. 1 in the foldable smartphone category, while the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 also ranked among the top performers.
