South Korean Shooting Wins Bronze in Men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions Team Event [Nagoya AG]

[Financial News] South Korean shooting won a bronze medal in the men's 50m rifle 3 positions team event at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, marking a podium finish for the second consecutive Games.
The South Korean team, comprising Jung Seung-woo (KT), Park Seong-hyeon (Changwon Special City Hall) and Gwon Hyeop-jun (Seosan City Hall), scored 1,751 points in the individual event's preliminary round, which also counted as the team event, at the Aichi Prefectural General Shooting Range in Japan on the 25th. It finished third behind China with 1,766 points and India with 1,762.
Jung Seung-woo posted the highest score among the South Korean shooters with 592 points. Park Seong-hyeon contributed 580 points, while Gwon Hyeop-jun added 579.
South Korea won medals in this event at two consecutive Games, following the 2022 Asian Games, where Kim Jong-hyun, Kim Sang-do and Mo Dae-seong combined to win bronze.
In the individual event, Jung Seung-woo advanced to the final, contested by the top eight shooters, after ranking second overall in the preliminary round. Park Seong-hyeon placed 17th and Gwon Hyeop-jun 19th, failing to reach the final.
Jung Seung-woo will compete for a medal in the individual event final at 2 p.m. today at the same venue.
