Chuseok Nationwide to Be Mostly Cloudy with Rain in Places; Parts of the Central Region to See Rain Through Early Tomorrow Morning [Weather]

[Financial News] On the 25th, Chuseok, skies will be mostly cloudy nationwide, with occasional rain in some areas. Rain is expected to continue until the early morning of the 26th in parts of the central region.
According to the Korean Meteorological Administration, some areas along the east coast and in the mountainous regions of Gangwon State, as well as the northern east coast of Gyeongsangbuk-do, will see rain from the morning. Rain is expected to continue through the afternoon in southern regions and through the evening in some areas of Jeju Island.
Expected precipitation is 5–10 mm in Seoul, Incheon Metropolitan City, Gyeonggi Province, and the Five West Sea Islands; 5–30 mm along the east coast and in the mountainous areas of Gangwon State; 5–10 mm in inland Gangwon State; and 5–20 mm in Daejeon, Sejong City, South Chungcheong Province, and North Chungcheong Province.
The Jeolla region is expected to receive 20–60 mm along the South Jeolla coast, 10–40 mm in Gwangju and inland South Jeolla Province, and 5–20 mm in North Jeolla Province.
In the Gyeongsang region, forecasts call for 10–40 mm along the western southern coast of South Gyeongsang Province; 5–20 mm in Busan, Ulsan, South Gyeongsang Province excluding its western southern coast, and the northern east coast of Gyeongsangbuk-do; and 5–10 mm in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do excluding its northern east coast.
Daytime temperatures are expected to rise to 22–28°C.
As of 5 a.m., temperatures in major areas were 19.5°C in Seoul, 20.1°C in Incheon Metropolitan City, 17.4°C in Suwon, 17.5°C in Chuncheon, 19.3°C in Gangneung, 19.7°C in Cheongju, 19.6°C in Daejeon, 20.7°C in Jeonju, 21.6°C in Gwangju, 23.7°C on Jeju Island, 21.0°C in Daegu, 22.3°C in Busan, 20.1°C in Ulsan, and 22.0°C in Changwon.
Wave heights in nearshore waters are expected to reach 0.5–2.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 meters in the Yellow Sea, and 0.5–1.5 meters in the South Sea.
In the inner offshore waters, located approximately 200 kilometers from the coastline, waves are expected to reach 0.5–2.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5–1.0 meters in the Yellow Sea, and 0.5–1.5 meters in the South Sea.
