President Lee Jae Myung: "I will work even harder, regardless of differences in opinions or views"

[Financial News] President Lee Jae Myung said on Sept. 25, marking his second Chuseok since taking office, "I will work even harder so that a bright light can shine equally on the lives of every citizen, without regard to anyone's qualifications or circumstances or to differences in opinions or views."
In a Chuseok holiday video released that day, President Lee Jae Myung said, "After an exceptionally difficult summer marked by unprecedented heat has passed, we have reached Chuseok, when the five grains and fruits are ripening. It is a time when we think of those we miss, along with the gratitude we have not had the chance to express."
He continued, "I, too, would like to take this opportunity to convey my deep gratitude and respect to all our citizens who quietly carry on living each day in their respective places."
President Lee Jae Myung expressed his gratitude to those who take to the streets before dawn to keep them clean, as well as to farmers and fishers, soldiers, police officers, firefighters, medical workers and overseas Koreans who bring honor to the name of the Republic of Korea abroad.
President Lee Jae Myung said, "Although each of us lives in a different place, does different work and has walked a different path, our love for the country must be one. I am truly grateful and honored as president to be able to stand with our great 'people of the Republic of Korea,' who have shaped the Republic of Korea today and are opening the way to its tomorrow."
He added, "Chuseok is a holiday when people can see the same full moon wherever they are in the world."
Kim Hye-kyung, who appeared in the video with him, said, "I hope you have a precious Chuseok holiday in which you send your regards to those you miss and share happiness with those you love." President Lee Jae Myung and Kim Hye-kyung then said together, "Dear citizens, thank you."
