Apple to Issue Update Next Week for 'Sudden Reboots' on iPhone 18 Pro

[Financial News] Apple said on the 24th that it would fix an issue in the recently released iPhone 18 Pro series, in which the devices unexpectedly restart, with a software update early next week.
There have been reports that the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models repeatedly freeze without warning and then turn back on automatically—a phenomenon known as 'Panic Full' (panic-full).
Panic Full is a phenomenon in which a device reboots while a system error record is left in its device analytics log. The term comes from the 'panic-full' entry recorded in the device analytics log.
Apple said it is aware that some users' iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max devices may unexpectedly restart when Face ID authentication fails. The company added that a fix for the issue will be provided through a software update early next week.
