[Financial News] South Korea's canoe sprint team won gold in the men's K-4 500m at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. 
South Korea, fielding a team of Jo Gwang-hui, Kim Hyobin, Jang Sang-won and Choi Min-gyu, recorded 1:22.587 in the men's K-4 500m final (Final A) held on the 24th at the Miyoshi Lake Canoe Venue in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. It was the South Korean delegation's ninth gold medal of the Games.
On the 23rd, South Korea placed first in Heat 2 of the preliminaries with a time of 1:25.383, securing a place in Final A.
Canoe sprint is an event in which competitors race in a straight line over a set distance on calm water, with rankings determined by the order in which they cross the finish line.
