BTS' Arirang Ranks No. 1 Worldwide in Tour Revenue

[Financial News] Big Hit Music announced on the 24th that BTS' world tour, 'Arirang' (ARIRANG), ranked No. 1 in cumulative worldwide tour revenue through the third quarter.
According to data released on the 22nd (local time) by Pollstar, a media outlet specializing in the concert industry, BTS' 'Arirang' world tour, which began in April this year, drew 2,314,140 people across 38 shows. The tour generated approximately 637 billion won in ticket revenue, the highest among worldwide tours held from Nov. 13 last year through Aug. 12 this year.
This result has already surpassed last year's top performance. According to Pollstar, the highest-grossing tour last year was Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter Tour,' which generated approximately 557.4 billion won.
Las Vegas was the city where the most tickets were sold during BTS' current tour. The group held four shows at Allegiant Stadium in May, drawing 245,691 people and generating approximately 91.1 billion won in ticket revenue. BTS will begin its South American tour in Bogotá, Colombia, on the 2nd of next month.
