Gwacheon National Science Museum to Hold Science and Cultural Events on All Days Except Chuseok Day, Including the 'Scientific K-Game Challenge'

[Financial News] Gwacheon National Science Museum will hold various science and cultural events, including hands-on activities, performances, and pop-ups that combine traditional games with science, on the 24th, 26th, and 27th, excluding Chuseok Day. At the museum's Central Hall and Korea Science Civilization Hall, it will host 'Questions That Made Civilization x Chuseok,' including the 'Scientific K-Game Challenge,' which adds scientifically modified rules to traditional games.
The 'Chuseok Heung Pungmul Performance' will be held daily at 2 p.m. Special programs will also be available for foreigners and multicultural families. A toy-themed pop-up event centered on 'Mallangi' will be held at the Creative Studio. Other programs, including traditional game-making activities, will also be offered.
National Science Museum will also open its paid venues, including Changui Narae Hall, Kkumatti Experience Hall, and Astronomy Hall, free of charge on all days except Chuseok Day. Through its Chuseok brand event, 'Chuseok Science Market,' the museum will offer science market experiences such as a flea market and craft workshops.
Gwangju National Science Museum will hold the Chuseok special event 'Our Family Science Festival,' where families can enjoy science and traditional culture together, and will open its permanent exhibition hall free of charge for three days excluding Chuseok Day. Visitors can take part in traditional game activities with staff dressed in various costumes, as well as programs offering hands-on experiences of traditional culture and Korean traditional music. A Chuseok folk song and dance performance and a space where families can make wishes will also be available. Visitors who come to the museum wearing hanbok will receive a science activity kit.
Busan National Science Museum will open its permanent exhibition hall free of charge on the 24th and 26th and operate the traditional game experience event 'Kungtteok Kungtteok, Chuseok Play Market' during the Chuseok holiday period, excluding the 25th. Daegu National Science Museum will offer free admission to its permanent exhibition hall and Kkumnamu Science Hall on the 24th and 26th, while also providing free access to exhibitions including 'Driving the Future,' which explores the history of Korea's automobile industry. It will hold the science and cultural event 'Light Up Your Imagination BOT,' featuring drone piloting and car robot races, through the 11th of next month.
