Yeosu Island Expo: Bukkangi, Stop Right There... QWER K-Pop Concert on the 26th

[Financial News] Amid nationwide interest in the shark known as Bukkangi that appeared at Busan North Port Waterfront Park, the 2026 World Island Exhibition Yeosu Korea is seeking to attract visitors with a K-pop concert.
According to Jeonnam-Gwangju Special Metropolitan City on the 24th, the fusion gugak musical "Baekdo Yuramgi," which reinterprets the legend of Baekdo Island, will be performed at 2 p.m. at the special performance venue in the main event area in the Jinmo District of Dolsan Island, Yeosu. Traditional dances from the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste and acoustic performances will be held on the Open Stage at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
On the 25th, "Baekdo Yuramgi" will be followed by a parade, a character show, a dance performance by Eco Crew, and an electronic dance music performance by DJ Blink.
At 7 p.m. on the 26th, a K-pop concert featuring QWER, ONEWE, and Cherry Filter will be held.
On the 27th, the final day of the holiday, the event will feature a cooking show by master Jeong Seon-sim, busking performances, and Philippine folk dances.
At the exhibition grounds, visitors can see the large media facade of Theme Island, a landmark of the event; Treasure Island, which offers hands-on content for children; and Future Island, which presents visions of the future of islands and the sea.
