Head to the Movies for Chuseok... CJ CGV and Lotte Cinema Offer a Wealth of Discounts and Prizes

[Financial News] CJ CGV and Lotte Cinema are welcoming moviegoers for the Chuseok holiday with discounts and prizes.
CJ CGV is running the “CJ CGV Holiday Three-Part Promotion,” which offers movie and concession discount coupons up to three times. Lotte Cinema is holding the “The More, the Merrier: Lotsine Holiday Bonanza,” a prize event for accompanying moviegoers.
During the holiday theater season, audiences can enjoy films across a range of genres, including the Korean films “The Intern,” “The Assassin(s),” “Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub” and “Possible Love,” as well as the animated film “Octonauts: Above & Beyond.”

CJ CGV is holding the “CJ CGV Holiday Three-Part Promotion” through October 11 to mark the fall holiday period spanning the Chuseok holiday, National Foundation Day and Hangeul Day. The promotion includes consecutive movie and concession discount coupons, along with prizes based on the number of viewings.
Customers who participate in the “Relay Coupon Event” will receive a first coupon offering a 3,000-won discount on a 2D movie ticket and another 3,000-won discount on a concession combo. After using the coupon to watch a movie and make a concession purchase, they can receive a second coupon with the same benefits the following day. Customers who use the second coupon will receive a third coupon.
Prizes will also be awarded based on the number of viewings. Among customers who watch one movie during the event, 200 will be randomly selected to receive a free topping popcorn (L) coupon. Ninety-nine customers who watch two movies will receive two 2D movie tickets, while one customer who watches three or more movies will receive four premium hotel dining vouchers.
New customers and those with no record of visiting CJ CGV in the past year who watch a movie during the event will be entered into a drawing, with 30 winners receiving a set of 2D, SCREENX and 4DX tickets. Ten customers who create a PhotoPlay and post proof of it on social media will receive two Cine de Chef vouchers.

Lotte Cinema will hold “The More, the Merrier: Lotsine Holiday Bonanza” from the 22nd to the 27th. The event offers prizes for customers watching movies with family or friends, as well as Chuseok-limited concession products.
Under the “Perfect Together! Compatibility Prize Event,” customers who enter the event and book tickets for at least two people will be entered into a drawing for Charlotte movie tickets, perilla oil and sesame oil sets, movie tickets and other prizes.
Customers who both make a reservation and use the concession stand can win prizes including a Nintendo Switch and game pack set, as well as an Nespresso coffee machine and capsule set. Every customer who enters the event will receive a concession discount coupon.
The Chuseok-limited “Heart-Pounding Goods Combo” contains merchandise whose contents cannot be known in advance.
For the fall season, Lotte Cinema will launch the “Gongju Chestnut Crunch Latte,” featuring chestnut flavor and a crunchy topping, and the “Come On Overlanda Combo,” served with sikhye, sujeonggwa and traditional snacks.
