Lee Byung-hun to Introduce Korean Art at the British Museum Through Exhibition Narration

[Financial News] Actor Lee Byung-hun will provide narration for the Korean exhibition at the British Museum in London.
According to his agency BH Entertainment on September 23, Lee Byung-hun will provide narration for "Korea: 2,000 Years of Creativity," which opens at the British Museum in London on October 1. Jointly organized by the National Museum of Korea, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA), and the British Museum, the exhibition offers a broad look at around 2,000 years of Korean culture and art through some 180 works, including national treasures and treasures.
With his distinctive deep, resonant mid-low voice and comfortable yet steady delivery, Lee Byung-hun is expected to introduce Korean culture and the works while drawing visitors into the stories told by the exhibition. The exhibition, which presents Korean art and culture on a broad scale in the United Kingdom for the first time in roughly 40 years, also features collections donated to the National Museum of Korea and MMCA by the family of the late Chairman Lee Kun-hee. His participation is therefore expected to be especially meaningful.
Lee Byung-hun asked audiences for "a lot of interest" and expressed his anticipation for the exhibition by saying, "I’ll see you in London."
Lee Byung-hun previously drew attention for voicing the role of Gwi-Ma in the Netflix animation KPop Demon Hunters. He also participated in the audio guide for a special exhibition jointly organized by the National Museum of Korea and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. He personally explained 30 major works at the time and enhanced the production quality by fine-tuning everything from the wording to the pronunciation during the recording process.
Meanwhile, the exhibition "Korea: 2,000 Years of Creativity," for which Lee Byung-hun provided narration, will be held at the British Museum in London from October 1, 2026, through January 31, 2027.
