According to industry sources on the 23rd, Homeplus will run a discount promotion starting on the 24th on popular meat products, including Korean beef and Bomeokdwae pork belly and pork neck, as well as fruit, seafood, processed foods and household goods.
The meat selection includes Bomeokdwae pork belly and pork neck, all Korean beef products, and Handon Ilpum Pork. The fruit lineup features shine muscat grapes, Campbell Early grapes and gold kiwis. Fresh white-shell eggs from the United States will also be offered at special prices.
Homeplus has also prepared promotions on foods that can be enjoyed conveniently during the Chuseok holiday. Cabbage, salads, cleaned squid and smoked duck will be discounted, while processed foods such as pies, biscuits, snacks and cup noodles will be sold in bundles.
The company will also hold buy-one-get-one-free promotions on food and non-food items, including cheese, pizza and hot dogs, ready-to-eat rice, beverages, hygiene products, detergents, paper goods and sanitary pads. Jeju silver hairtail and milk are also included in the promotion.
