Eco&Dream Secures a KRW 17.7 Billion Precursor Order, Expanding Volumes as North American Demand Recovers

Eco&Dream disclosed on the 23rd that it will supply approximately KRW 17.7 billion worth of precursors for secondary batteries. The order covers the volume to be supplied during October.
The order is considered significant because material orders across the battery supply chain are increasing as electric vehicle demand in North America rises. Eco&Dream expects its annual precursor shipments to reach an all-time high in 2027.
Eco&Dream plans to diversify its sales regions and application areas to improve revenue stability. In addition to its existing high-nickel products, the company will expand its lineup of next-generation precursors, including Lithium Manganese Rich (LMR) and high-voltage mid-nickel products. It also plans to broaden supply opportunities by developing products tailored to the requirements of individual customers.
In 2027, Eco&Dream plans to complete construction of a pilot line for lithium iron phosphate (LFP) precursors and conduct product evaluations with customers. The company aims to establish a stable growth structure by expanding its application areas beyond electric vehicles (EVs).
An Eco&Dream representative explained, "North American EV sales, which declined after subsidies ended, are showing substantial signs of recovery. As EV demand enters a full-fledged stabilization phase, including the implementation of subsidies in California, we expect to record our highest-ever shipment volume next year."
