Ulsan Mayor Kim Sang-wook Visits Municipal Senior Care Home and Labor Sites Ahead of Chuseok

【Financial News Ulsan = Choi Su-sang, Reporter】 Kim Sang-wook, mayor of Ulsan Metropolitan City, visited on-site workers at city hall, the Ulsan Municipal Senior Care Home, and a labor union ahead of the Chuseok holiday. He exchanged holiday greetings and inspected conditions at each location.
Kim Sang-wook visited the city hall security officers' office and employee cafeteria on September 23, encouraged on-site workers, and presented them with Chuseok gifts.
In the afternoon, he visited the Ulsan Municipal Senior Care Home in Seongan-dong, Jung-gu, Ulsan, and checked on the elderly residents. He also heard about difficulties encountered in operating the facility, along with suggestions, from facility officials.
The Ulsan Municipal Senior Care Home currently houses 76 elderly residents and employs approximately 59 staff members.
Kim then visited the office of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions Construction and Plant Workers' Union. He exchanged brief holiday greetings with union officials and discussed pending issues, including the construction of parking facilities at the Ulsan Mipo National Industrial Park and Ulsan Onsan National Industrial Park.
After the Chuseok holiday, Kim will visit Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City on September 28 for an agreement on strengthening supra-regional cooperation in Industry AX and mutual growth. On September 29, he will travel to Seoul for policy consultations on municipal issues.
