"Training Future Agriculture Talent"... Daedong Partners with Jeonnam Life Science High School

[Financial News] Daedong is working to train specialists in future agriculture.
 Daedong announced on the 23rd that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Jeonnam Life Science High School to train future agriculture specialists in line with industry demand.
 Under the agreement, the two sides plan to cooperate in jointly training specialists in the operation of advanced agricultural machinery; linking curricula, teacher training, field practice and internships; using testbeds to demonstrate new future agriculture technologies; supporting educational equipment and recommending outstanding local talent; and jointly establishing and operating a Smart Agriculture Technical Center.
 Daedong will support educational activities, including curriculum-linked education, teacher training, field practice and internships. It will also assist with securing educational equipment by utilizing its headquarters and dealer network in South Jeolla Province. Jeonnam Life Science High School will provide an on-campus testbed for demonstrating and testing new future agriculture technologies and recommend outstanding local talent for recruitment by Daedong's headquarters and local dealerships.
 The two sides plan to establish and operate a Smart Agriculture Technical Center as a hub for future agriculture education and practical training.
 The agreement was arranged as the need grew for specialists capable of operating and managing advanced agricultural machinery and smart agriculture technologies in the field, amid their expanding adoption.
 Daedong plans to develop specific educational programs, including field practice and internships, and expand opportunities for students to experience the future agriculture industry firsthand.
 Lee Gwang-wook, division head of Daedong's Agricultural AX Promotion Task Force, said, "Agricultural AX must be supported by specialists who can understand and apply it in the field." He added, "Through this partnership, we will connect school education with the needs of industry and create a foundation for talented people in the region to grow in the future agriculture sector."
 Kim Il-sik, principal of Jeonnam Life Science High School, said, "I expect this industry-academic partnership with Daedong to provide an excellent opportunity to train the future agriculture talent needed in the era of agricultural AX." He added, "We will create a forum for exchange where the fresh perspectives and ideas of students who have learned the fundamentals of agriculture can contribute to the development of future agriculture in Korea."
