On the 23rd, Na appeared on YTN (Yonhap Television News)'s 'Jang Sung-cheol's News Myeongdang.' In response to the host's comment that "independent lawmaker Han Dong-hoon seems to have played a significant role in leading the confirmation hearing process," she said, "Well, he fought well," but added, "The members of our party on the Legislation and Judiciary Committee also fought well."
Na said, "Lawmaker Joo Jin-woo, for example, uncovered issues involving the family cooperative and fought with all his might," adding, "I also fought hard."
When the host went on to say, "This time, it seems the various messages from lawmaker Han Dong-hoon led to the candidate's nomination falling through," Na responded, "Is Jang Sung-cheol's show also a Han Dong-hoon show? Whenever I watch the program these days, it's always Han Dong-hoon. Everyone is working hard, so why do you talk only about lawmaker Han Dong-hoon?"
She continued, "When I monitor the coverage, they talk only about lawmaker Han Dong-hoon," adding, "Others are issuing messages and working hard, but only lawmaker Han Dong-hoon's messages are being featured. So I feel a little disappointed."
Na also addressed the issue of Han's return to the party.
She said, "The issue of returning to the party is a separate matter," adding, "We need to look at why he left the party. He must clearly explain the party members' bulletin board issue, and I believe there also needs to be a fact-finding investigation into it."
Earlier, Na made similar remarks during an appearance on CBS's 'Park Sung-tae's News Show' on the 21st.
At the time, regarding Han's allegations about Kim, she said, "Thank you for fighting hard over the failed nomination of Kim," adding, "I highly commend the effort he put into the fight."
However, regarding the possibility of Han returning to the party, she stated, "There are several hurdles he needs to clear," adding, "He clearly needs to explain his position and make a statement about issues such as the party members' bulletin board."
She emphasized, "It is not simply that identical opinions were posted collectively on the party members' bulletin board at the same time. At the time, many articles were published citing the bulletin board as representing the opinions of party members," adding, "Because there are aspects that amount to the manipulation of public opinion, a clear position on this is necessary."
