Shinhan Bank to Operate Mobile Branch at Hwaseong Service Area for Chuseok Travelers

[Financial News] Shinhan Bank will operate its mobile branch, Bank-Bird, on the southbound side of the Hwaseong Service Area on the Seohaean Expressway on Sept. 23 and 24 to mark the Chuseok holiday.
Shinhan Bank said on Sept. 23 that customers can use ATMs at Bank-Bird for basic banking services, including withdrawing new banknotes, making account transfers and updating passbooks. The mobile branch will also offer a service for exchanging cash for new banknotes.
The branch will operate from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
For overseas travelers during the Chuseok holiday, the unmanned currency-exchange space SOL Travel Lounge will also operate year-round, seven days a week. Customers can collect foreign currency ordered in advance regardless of operating hours.
SOL Travel Lounge locations are currently operating at seven sites: Seoul Station, Nonhyeon-dong, Seongsu-dong, Jamsil Lotte World, Pangyo, Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station and Hongik University Station. Customers can apply for currency exchange through the "SOL Easy Exchange" service on Shinhan Super SOL and collect 10 major currencies.
A Shinhan Bank official said, "We have prepared these services so that customers heading home for the Chuseok holiday and those preparing for overseas trips can use financial services more conveniently," and added, "We hope all customers have a safe and happy Chuseok holiday."
