[Financial News] Naver's streaming platform CHZZK is expanding online and offline experiences for enjoying the League of Legends (LoL) national team matches at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in collaboration with Riot Games. Following official broadcasts and original content production, the partnership is also expanding to include a national team support campaign. The companies aim to further strengthen their esports partnership by creating a new esports experience that organically connects game viewing, gameplay and fan participation.
According to industry sources on the 23rd, Naver CHZZK is running an online promotion for esports fans watching the Asian Games LoL matches. Users who watch an Asian Games League of Legends match on CHZZK for at least 30 minutes will have the chance to receive, through a raffle, a Drops item that can be used in the game. In particular, this promotion marks the first time Drops linked to CHZZK and Riot Games accounts have been introduced, allowing the match-viewing experience to naturally lead to an in-game reward.
A new initiative will also directly connect LoL players with CHZZK broadcasts. For the first time, a link to the CHZZK Asian Games broadcast will appear in the LoL client, allowing users to move more easily to the national team match broadcast while playing the game. CHZZK plans to connect gameplay and viewing in a single flow, increasing accessibility and engagement with the Asian Games LoL matches.
Riot Games will host the "Asian Games Finals LoL Park Viewing Party with CHZZK" at CHZZK LoL Park on October 2, with CHZZK also participating in the event. The gathering is designed to bring approximately 600 to 800 fans together in one venue to watch and cheer for the national team in the finals.
On the day of the event, CHZZK LoL Park will be organized around Riot Games' national team support campaign, "WARRIORS."
