Korea Housing Finance Signs MOU with Korea Technology Finance to Strengthen Personal Information Protection

[Financial News] Korea Housing Finance (HF) signed an MOU with Korea Technology Finance (KOTEC) on the 22nd to strengthen the personal information protection system.
According to HF on the 23rd, the two institutions will strengthen their personal information protection capabilities under the agreement through mutual inspections of personal information management systems, joint inspections of contractors entrusted with personal information processing, cooperation and exchanges including personal information protection campaigns and training, and the sharing of related materials and best practices.
The two institutions plan to continuously expand the scope of their cooperation in personal information protection and jointly raise protection standards so that people can use financial services with confidence.
Kim Kyung-hwan, president of HF, said, "Protecting the public's valuable personal information safely is an important responsibility of public institutions. We will continue to take the lead in proactively responding to the changing personal information protection environment and enhancing public trust."
