S-Oil Supports Growth of Environmental Social Enterprises, Participates in Korea Social Value Festa

[Financial News] S-Oil has embarked on supporting the growth of five environmental social enterprises by promoting their eco-friendly products and business models. S-Oil has continued its support program for environmental social enterprises since 2022 and has supported a total of 25 companies to date.
S-Oil announced on the 23rd that it participated with five environmental social enterprises in the 3rd Korea Social Value Festa, held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, from the 21st to the 22nd.
Hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), the event brought together public- and private-sector stakeholders working to address social problems and provided a platform to showcase various activities that create social value. S-Oil conducted an offline promotion with the Merry Year Foundation to highlight the businesses and products of five environmental social enterprises selected jointly by the two organizations.
The participating companies were REVATION, which develops products based on eco-friendly materials; Brownskin, which produces recycled leather products using agricultural and food by-products; Shell, which makes outdoor apparel using waste-fabric restoration techniques; ANARCHIA, which manufactures safety shoes from waste tires; and Sonkkeut, which produces growing containers from waste textiles.
The companies used S-Oil's grants to set up exhibition booths and introduce their respective products and business models. S-Oil has supported a total of 25 social enterprises since 2022.
An S-Oil official said, "As part of our environmental, social and governance (ESG) activities, we will support innovative social enterprises and contribute to creating social value."
