[Breaking] BAI Uncovers Six Illegal Acts by the NEC and Refers Them to a Special Prosecutor

[Financial News] Following its audit of the National Election Commission (NEC)'s execution of the election budget, including ballot printing and contracting for the June 3 local elections, the Board of Audit and Inspection (BAI) referred six cases it deemed to require prompt investigations to the special prosecutor team investigating the NEC as materials for reference in the investigation.
The BAI said on the 23rd that it had first sent the special prosecutor team materials on cases suspected of bid interference, improper sole-source contracts, and improper inspection and acceptance.
