Lotte World Tower Technology Brings Science to the Classroom as Lotte Property & Development Runs Classes for Children

[Financial News] Lotte Property & Development is visiting elementary schools and community child centers to operate '555 Science Class' for around 300 elementary school students.
According to Lotte Property & Development on the 23rd, '555 Science Class' is a hands-on science education program that introduces the architectural and energy technologies applied to Lotte World Tower in ways that are easy for children to understand. The program has so far been offered to children in Songpa District, but its operating area was expanded to Yeongdeungpo-gu this year.
On the 21st, a 90-minute class was held at Seoul Dangsan Elementary School for 60 fifth- and sixth-grade students. Lotte Property & Development plans to visit the YDP Future Lifelong Learning Center on the 2nd of next month, Seoul Daebang Elementary School on the 8th, and the Songpa-gu RNT Community Child Center on the 16th.
The classes consist of theoretical instruction, hands-on activities, and mentoring by Lotte Property & Development employees. Students learn about Lotte World Tower's architectural structure, earthquake-resistant design, and the principles behind the use of hydrothermal energy. They then build hydrothermal energy kits themselves and observe how a motor operates and water circulates in response to temperature changes. A session is also held in which employees working at Lotte World Tower introduce their field experience and job responsibilities.

Goun added, "Starting with this '555 Science Class,' we will continue to expand our social contribution activities so that they can provide practical support to the Yeongdeungpo-gu community."
