KT Adds to Chuseok Holiday Fun with Movie, Shopping, Culture and Travel Benefits in One Place

[Financial News] KT is holding movie, shopping and travel promotions for the Chuseok holiday. From the 24th to the 27th, the holiday period, it will offer customers free video calls.
KT announced that customers who purchase the latest films, including 'OK! MADAM: BON VOYAGE,' 'The End of Oak Street' and 'Portrait of a Family,' on Genie TV from the 23rd through the 30th will receive a 5,000-won TV coupon for each movie. A Marvel special theater will also operate through the 30th to commemorate the re-release of 'Avengers: Endgame Encore.' It will showcase approximately 50 Marvel films and offer package discounts on 'The Avengers' films 1 through 4.
Through the 2nd of next month, approximately 200 films, including 'Dune' and 'Troy,' will be offered at discounts of up to 60%. 'Top Gun: Maverick' and 'Mission: Impossible,' among others, will be available for 900 won. Customers who switch to Genie TV's 'Modeun G' will be entered into a drawing for travel vouchers and other prizes, while KT Membership VIP and VVIP customers will receive 10,000 won worth of video-on-demand (VOD) benefits.
KT Membership's 'Dal-Dal Benefits' program allows customers to choose one of the following: a shopping lounge discount, a Lotte Mart discount, discounts at Baedal Minjok and BHC Chicken, or a Burger King discount. Musicals such as 'Dear Evan Hansen' and 'Gwanghwamun Sonata,' as well as exhibitions, will also be available at discounts of up to 50%.
Customers using roaming services for overseas travel will receive a 10,000-won discount on airport lounge access this month. Customers using the 'Southeast Asia Budget Roaming' service through the 31st of next month can receive benefits worth 20,000 won when they make Naver Pay QR payments overseas. The membership shopping lounge will also run special promotions on travel goods and Chuseok gifts.
KT's official online store, KT Direct Shop, will offer up to 57% off service fees and 50,000 won in Naver Pay to customers who sign up as new subscribers or switch carriers and complete a family bundle by the 30th. Customers who subscribe to one of the three Disney+ subscription packages will also receive an additional coffee or lifestyle-benefit coupon once a month for two months after signing up.
Free video calls from the 24th through the 27th will be automatically available to eligible KT customers without a separate application. Video calls using mobile data and prepaid mobile phone services are excluded.
A KT representative said, "We have prepared a variety of customer benefits so that customers can spend precious time with their families and relatives during Chuseok and enjoy a richer holiday," adding, "We will continue expanding benefits and services that customers can experience in their everyday lives."
