Yuhan Corporation Launches Probiotic for Women's Vaginal and Gut Health

Yuhan Corporation announced on the 23rd that it had launched Elena Dual (pictured), which contains the women's vaginal health probiotic Urex and the gut health probiotic BB-12 in a single capsule.
Elena Dual is a multifunctional product designed to support vaginal and gut health simultaneously. Its formulation has been expanded beyond women's vaginal health to support gut health for the entire family.
The key ingredient, Urex probiotics, is a patented combination of the strains Lactobacillus rhamnosus GR-1 and Lactobacillus reuteri RC-14. Recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety as an individually approved functional ingredient for vaginal health, it may help maintain women's vaginal health by promoting the growth of probiotics.
BB-12 probiotics are a representative Bifidobacterium strain and an ingredient for gut health. According to Yuhan Corporation, research based on more than 200 SCI-level papers and human trials has examined the growth of beneficial gut bacteria, the suppression of harmful bacteria, and smooth bowel movements. The strain is characterized by its high survival rate in the gut, enabling it to pass through the digestive system and reach the intestines.
