Fujifilm Korea Appoints Yujiro Igarashi as New Representative Director

[Financial News] Fujifilm Electronic Imaging Korea (Fujifilm Korea) announced on the 23rd that it had appointed Yujiro Igarashi as its new representative director. The Korean entity will be led by Representative Director Yujiro Igarashi and President Lim Hoon.
Representative Director Yujiro Igarashi joined Fujifilm in 1997 and has spent nearly 30 years in the imaging business. He worked as a commercial coordinator at Fujifilm’s UK subsidiary in 2002 and became manager of the Product Planning Group at the Electronic Imaging Division at headquarters in 2008.
Beginning in 2013, he served as general manager of the Electronic Imaging and Optical Equipment Division and executive vice president overseeing the imaging business at Fujifilm’s Americas subsidiary. In 2021, he became head of the Professional Imaging Group in the Imaging Solutions Division at headquarters. He later led Fujifilm’s global business as head of the Imaging Solutions Division.
Drawing on Representative Director Yujiro Igarashi’s international business experience and President Lim Hoon’s expertise in the Korean market, Fujifilm Korea plans to strengthen communication with customers and broaden the reach of photography and video culture in Korea.
