'The Entertainment Industry's Oldest Mother,' 47-Year-Old Han Da-gam Gives Birth to Son Six Years After Marriage

[Financial News] Actress Han Da-gam, who drew attention as the oldest mother in the entertainment industry, has become a mother six years after getting married.
On the 22nd, according to Yonhap News Agency and other outlets, a representative for Han Da-gam said, "Han Da-gam gave birth to a son this evening."
The representative added, "Both the mother and baby are healthy," and said, "She is recovering under the care of her husband and family."
Han Da-gam previously made headlines in April when she announced her pregnancy in a handwritten letter.
At the time, she said, "I debuted in my 20s and spent those years rushing forward while looking only ahead. I got married at 41, and in the sixth year of our marriage, I was blessed with a child this year. I still can't believe it."
She continued, "I am so grateful to have received such a great blessing and gift at this late stage in my life. I think the fact that I exercised diligently and worked hard to manage my diet over the years has helped a lot." She added, "As the oldest mother in the entertainment industry, I will exercise even harder, take greater care of myself, and move forward into the second chapter of my life with caution."
Han Da-gam made her debut in 1999 with the drama 'For Love' and later appeared in 'Full House,' 'Grudge: The Revolt of Gumiho,' and 'Golden Cross.'
Han Da-gam, who debuted under the name Han Eun-jung, legally changed her name in 2018 and married a businessman one year older than her in 2020.
Han Da-gam plans to share the process of giving birth through the KBS 2TV variety program 'The Return of Superman.'
