Duksung Women's University (DSWU) Offers Career and Employment Program for Students at Ewha Womans University Affiliated Media High School

DSWU's University Job Plus Center visited a high school and operated a practical interview program to help vocational high school students prepare for employment.
DSWU announced on the 22nd that it had held a career and employment program on the 2nd for students at Ewha Womans University Affiliated Media High School. The program was conducted in connection with the Seoul Northern Youth I-RuDA project, a regional employment support initiative for young people at vocational high schools.
The program consisted of a special lecture on "Creating a One-Minute Self-Introduction for Interviews" and small-group practice sessions. Consultants from DSWU's University Job Plus Center and its Tailored Employment Services for Current Students program provided guidance on writing and delivering self-introductions that students could use in actual interviews.
After learning how to convey their strengths and experiences in a short amount of time, the students wrote and presented their own self-introductions.
Jeong Ji-yong, head of DSWU's University Job Division and a professor of business administration, said, "Based on youth employment governance involving the Ministry of Employment and Labor and relevant local organizations, we are providing career and employment support programs that offer practical help to vocational high school students in the region." He added, "We will expand tailored support so that diverse young people in the region can clarify their career paths and strengthen their job-readiness skills."
