S-Tec System Provides Self-Defense Training for Kyung Hee University Medical Center Medical Staff

[Financial News] Hospital-based safety training is being strengthened to protect medical staff from verbal abuse and physical violence.
 S-Tec System announced on the 22nd that it had provided Kyung Hee University Medical Center medical staff with crisis-response and self-defense training to prepare for unexpected situations, including verbal abuse and physical violence.
 The training was held twice, on the 11th and 18th of this month. It was designed to enhance medical staff's ability to respond to unexpected situations, including verbal abuse, threats, and physical confrontations involving patients or their guardians.
 The medical staff practiced how to respond to verbal abuse and threats, as well as defensive self-defense techniques to escape physical danger.
 Rather than focusing on techniques for subduing an aggressor, the training emphasized quickly recognizing danger, minimizing confrontation, and securing a safe distance. It was conducted through hands-on practice based on scenarios that could occur in actual medical settings.
 S-Tec System provides security services at major medical institutions, including leading tertiary general hospitals across South Korea. Approximately 1,500 security personnel are currently deployed at hospitals nationwide.
 An S-Tec System official said, "Security is important not only for responding after an incident occurs, but also for developing the ability to recognize risks in advance and minimize harm." The official added, "We will continue to enhance the safety of customers and on-site personnel through professional safety training tailored to the characteristics of various settings, including medical facilities."
