She added, "I am once again reminded that the force that leads a community toward hope is people before institutions," and expressed her gratitude to residents and the education community.

Superintendent Ko said, "The sun of the heat wave that dried the earth sets, and autumn's full moon, bringing the vitality of the harvest, rises," adding, "The round moon illuminates the rounded fence we call 'we.'"
She continued, "I hope you have a warm holiday filled with laughter and affection as you feel the meaning of 'we.'"
She also emphasized the role of education. Superintendent Ko stated, "I will continue to do my best to ensure that Jeju education can provide greater support to families and local communities." This means creating an education community in which families and local communities work together to support children's growth, rather than limiting education to schools.
She also expressed her gratitude to workers who will remain on the job during the holiday. Superintendent Ko said, "I thank the workers who will devote themselves to keeping citizens safe during the Chuseok holiday," adding, "I wish every family health and happiness."
