White House Bars CNN and Launches Government TV Channel, Bringing Trump to YouTube 24/7

[Financial News] The White House has launched a 24-hour YouTube broadcast called "Trump TV," which delivers news related to U.S. President Donald Trump.
According to The Hill on the 21st, the White House began broadcasting a channel titled "Trump TV: The Essential Station" at 7 p.m. Eastern Time that day. The channel airs President Trump's speeches, appearances at events and other activities.
The White House's X account also announced the launch of the Trump TV stream that day, describing it as a service that "will be updated in real time 24 hours a day, seven days a week, bringing together the best moments from the past, major announcements, and the government's newest and greatest news all in one place."
The White House also added a "Livestream" section to its website, allowing viewers to watch Trump TV. The website has also launched "White House Live," which provides live streams of White House events.
The launch of the "Trump TV" channel came just days after the White House, at President Trump's direction, barred reporters from CNN, Politico and MS NOW from entering the White House. On the 18th, Trump announced the ban, claiming that "CNN, Politico and MS NOW have been reporting 'fake news.'" The outlets filed a lawsuit in court on the 21st, saying that President Trump had stripped them of their constitutionally protected freedom of the press and asking for their White House access to be restored.
Amid the controversy, California Governor Gavin Newsom, who is being mentioned as a potential Democratic presidential contender, said, "President Trump has blocked the independent press from the White House, and now he is literally launching a state-run broadcaster to try to bury the fact that he and his corrupt administration are disappointing the American people." He went on to criticize the move, saying, "This is the autocratic behavior of a truly failed president."
