SK ecoplant to Assign All New Hires to High-Tech Business Division

[Financial News] SK ecoplant has begun laying the foundation for semiconductor- and artificial intelligence (AI)-centered businesses by developing key talent. SK ecoplant announced on the 22nd that it had conducted an onboarding process for new hires selected through the “High-Tech Junior Talent” recruitment program over 12 days starting September 7. In June, SK ecoplant recruited Junior Talents to strengthen its competitiveness in the AI infrastructure business. A total of 68 people were hired, all of whom are scheduled to be assigned to the High-Tech Business Division.
The training program covered improving participants’ understanding of semiconductor business roles and field operations, strengthening AI-based work capabilities, and familiarizing them with the company’s vision and corporate culture.
The program emphasized specialized semiconductor job knowledge and the development of practical skills that could be applied immediately in the field. Participants also practiced ways to improve productivity by applying AI to real-world work situations.
Kim Young-sik, president of SK ecoplant, met with the new employees and shared the company’s business direction and growth strategy. An SK ecoplant official said, "We plan to continue developing talent through field-oriented training and by embedding AX (AI transformation)-based ways of working."
