Dongbu Construction Wins Toegyewon District 4 Redevelopment Project... Worth 193.3 Billion Won

[Financial News] Dongbu Construction has won the 'Toegyewon Zone 4 Housing Redevelopment Project' in Toegyewon-eup, Namyangju-si. The total construction cost is 193.3 billion won.
According to Dongbu Construction on the 22nd, this project involves the construction of a multi-unit residential complex with a total of 557 units and ancillary facilities, ranging from three underground floors to a maximum of 23 floors above ground, in the area of 82-13, Toegyewon-ri, Toegyewon-eup, Namyangju-si. The total floor area is approximately 90,000 square meters, and the construction period is approximately 42 months.
Dongbu Construction proposed 'Centreville The Porta' for this project, reflecting Centreville's residential philosophy and the regional characteristics of Toegyewon. Porta is a Latin word meaning 'gate' or 'gateway,' symbolically capturing the locational characteristics and future value of Toegyewon, which has served as a gateway connecting Seoul and Namyangju.
Dongbu Construction plans to apply Centreville's unique and differentiated product competitiveness to the entire complex, including the exterior, landscaping, and community facilities. The company envisions establishing it as a premium residential complex representing Toegyewon by differentiating it from existing local residential areas through specialized designs that consider the site characteristics and surrounding living environment.
The project site offers easy access to Toegyewon Station on the Gyeongchun Line, the Capital Region First Ring Expressway, and the Sejong–Pocheon Expressway. It is also adjacent to Byeollae and Dasan New Towns, allowing residents to share various lifestyle infrastructures such as education, shopping, and culture.
Dongbu Construction plans to further strengthen the position of the Centreville brand in the metropolitan area through this contract win. A Dongbu Construction official stated, "We will complete this as a Centreville complex representing the region by providing differentiated products and high quality that fully leverage the location and future value of Toegyewon."
