Iranian President Departs for UN General Assembly, Saying "U.S. and Israel Fear Their Crimes Being Exposed"

[Financial News] Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian reiterated his hard-line stance as he departed to attend the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Iran's state broadcaster, President Pezeshkian said on the 22nd local time, "We held our heads high and prevailed, and this is a source of our dignity and pride," adding, "We will firmly defend our position on the international stage."
He stressed, "At the UNGA, we will establish the damage suffered by the Iranian people, the crimes committed by the U.S. and Israel, and the mistrust that has accumulated over the years." He added, "They fear that the crimes they committed will be exposed. That is why they blocked Iranian journalists from accompanying us, but we will make the voices of the Iranian people heard through the many international media outlets that will be present."
He also said, "We have gone to the negotiating table several times and signed agreements," asserting, "Unfortunately, as the whole world has seen, the promises were not kept, and the agreements we signed were trampled on."
He continued, "The enemies are trying to force the Iranian people into submission by every possible means. After failing through military means, they are exploiting the media and division and trying to weaken us from within by taking full advantage of our vulnerabilities."
President Pezeshkian is scheduled to attend the high-level segment of the UNGA, which will bring together leaders of countries involved in the Middle East war, including Israel. He is scheduled to take the podium and deliver a speech on the morning of the 23rd.
