[Financial News] A woman on Seoul Subway Line 2 has come under fire after footage showed her sitting in a regular seat, stretching her legs into the space reserved for pregnant women, and talking loudly on the phone.
On the 21st, JTBC's "Sageonbanjang" aired footage filmed inside a subway train. The woman in the video was seated in a regular seat next to a seat designated for pregnant women while talking on the phone.
She stretched both legs out from her seat, taking up the adjacent space reserved for pregnant women. She continued her phone conversation in that position for some time.
Although other passengers were nearby, the woman continued talking without changing her behavior. The passenger who submitted the footage said the conduct made them uncomfortable.
After watching the video, online commenters criticized the woman for showing no consideration for other passengers. Some said, "She seems to think she's in her own living room," and, "Stretching your legs out like that and talking loudly on the phone on the subway is inconsiderate to those around you."
