"I Have Something to Tell Nana": Home Intruder Sends Another Handwritten Letter to Broadcaster

[Financial News] A man who broke into singer and actress Nana's home and committed robbery was reportedly sent another letter to a broadcaster's production staff asking for a visit after prosecutors sought a 10-year prison sentence at his appeal hearing.
According to JTBC's current-affairs program "Incident Chief" on the 21st, the defendant, who unlawfully entered Nana's home, recently sent another handwritten letter to the production team while standing trial on charges of robbery resulting in injury.
The man had reportedly previously sent a five-page letter to the program's production team and attempted to justify his crime in it.
Introducing himself at the beginning of the latest letter as "the defendant in the Nana case," the man reportedly wrote, "I have something I want to tell you, so if you can meet with me, please come visit me," and added, "Please come as soon as possible."
The man is believed to be repeatedly contacting the broadcaster because of concerns about his sentence. Son Su-ho, an attorney who appeared as a panelist on the program, explained, "At the closing hearing of the appeal, prosecutors asked the court to sentence him to 10 years in prison." He added, "The defendant appears to be deeply rattled and trying somehow to change the situation, but it seems unlikely that he will get his way."
At the closing hearing of the appeal held on the 18th before the Seoul High Court's Criminal Division 14-3, composed of High Court Judges Jeong Gyeong-geun, Lee Hyeong-geun and Lee Hyeon-woo, prosecutors criticized the man, saying, "Rather than repenting for his wrongdoing, he has filed a criminal complaint against the victim and continues to make false claims," and, "He is continuing to inflict secondary harm by exploiting the fact that the victim is a famous entertainer." They then sought a 10-year prison sentence.
