Daelim Bath Files Patent Application for "Rear-Sealing Structure" in Integrated Bidet Toilet

[Financial News] Daelim Bath has filed an additional patent application related to the "rear-sealing structure" it has applied to its premium integrated bidet toilets.
According to Daelim Bath on the 22nd, the technology covered by the patent application seals the rear of integrated bidet toilets to address condensation, mold and cleaning problems. With conventional open-back toilet designs, the rear of the product is exposed to the outside, allowing water or contaminants to enter and creating areas that are difficult to reach, which makes cleaning and maintenance inconvenient.
Daelim Bath developed the rear-sealing structure to address these maintenance difficulties. Sealing the rear reduces hidden areas where contaminants can accumulate and improves the product's hygiene and ease of maintenance.
In addition to the latest application, Daelim Bath has registered a total of 14 patents to date, continuing to secure rights to its proprietary technologies.
Park Sang-woo, head of Daelim Bath's Sanitary Ware Development Team, said, "The key point of this patent is that an auxiliary core mold allows the rear-sealing structure to be molded into the main body in a single process, improving design completeness and productivity while also addressing condensation, mold and cleaning problems so that consumers can maintain the product more hygienically and conveniently."
