Jung Cheong-rae: "President Lee Jae Myung Accurately Diagnosed the 'Disease of Division'... It Must Be Treated with the Medicine of '4Tong Integration'"

[Financial News]  Jung Cheong-rae, former leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, is undergoing inpatient treatment at a hospital for overwork. He called on the party leadership, including Democratic Party of Korea leader Kim Min-seok, to move quickly to unite all factions, saying, "The disease of division must be treated with the medicine of integration."
On the 22nd, Jung wrote on his Facebook page, "Yesterday, I started with a sip of water, and today I ate watery rice porridge and thin rice gruel," beginning with, "I am grateful that I can eat."
He said, "Like a child taking its first steps, I am beginning my return to the world little by little. Even if just a tiny spot, no larger than a fingernail, in my body breaks down, my entire body suffers from chills and fever. The part is the whole, and the whole is the part."
He continued, "The same applies to a party or a country. Even if only part of the whole is ill, all members of the whole suffer from flu-like symptoms. The part is the whole, and the whole is the part. We are a one-body community." He added, "Even if only a minority of members are sick, that is the case. If a majority of members are suffering from the same disease, it must be treated urgently above all else."
Jung said, "When I was brought to the emergency room on the morning of the 16th, the doctors first identified the affected area and its cause, then provided treatment and prescriptions accordingly. The Democratic Party must determine where it hurts, quickly feel the affected areas, and begin treatment."
He said, "Through a press conference, President Lee Jae Myung accurately diagnosed what attitude party members and supporters should adopt. President Lee diagnosed divisive language and attitudes as a disease. He strongly called for an end to hatred and derogatory labels."
He continued, "The disease of division must be treated with the medicine of integration. The party must now take active follow-up measures. Through 4Tong integration (Kim Dae-jung, Roh Moo-hyun, Moon Jae-in and Lee Jae Myung), it must disinfect the inflammation of division and allow new tissue to grow." He added, "You cannot feel full from the first spoonful. Let us try the thin rice gruel of 4Tong integration, one spoonful at a time, with hope in 4Tong integration."
