[Financial News] Korea Investment Management conducted an offline promotional campaign on college campuses with its student supporters to introduce exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and investment principles.
Korea Investment Management said on the 22nd that its ACE ETF college student supporters held Campus Attack events at Ewha Womans University and Dongguk University on the 14th and 21st, respectively.
The ACE ETF college student supporters are a student promotional group that raises awareness of Korea Investment Management's ETF brand, ACE. They have carried out online and offline activities since late July. For these events, the supporters handled everything from planning to on-site operations.
At Ewha Womans University, participants took part in ETF-related quizzes, timing games and a game that required them to predict sector gains and losses based on past news. The event emphasized the importance of industry analysis and diversification, given the difficulty of predicting investment timing and outcomes.
At Dongguk University, the event was organized around the theme of Asset Wellness, reflecting the Healthy Pleasure trend that has spread among college students. Pull-up missions and a survey comparing investment profiles to marathon styles connected physical health with financial health.
Participants also received prizes, including AirPods, laptop stands, key rings and gift vouchers.
A Korea Investment Management official said, "By connecting ETFs and investing with games based on the students' ideas, we were able to naturally introduce the brand to students in their 20s who were unfamiliar with investing." The official added, "We will continue working to provide investors with the information and products they need."
