Hana Bank Raises Fixed Deposit Rate Again to 3.4% per Annum

[Financial News] Hana Bank has raised the interest rate on its flagship fixed deposit product. As market interest rates rise, fixed deposit rates at major banks have climbed into the mid-3% range per annum.
According to banking industry sources on the 22nd, Hana Bank will raise the one-year rate on its fixed deposit product, Hana's Fixed Deposit, from 3.3% to 3.4% per annum starting today. This represents an increase of 0.1 percentage points.
Hana Bank also raised its fixed deposit rate from 3.2% to 3.3% per annum on the 10th.
Competition among banks for deposits is intensifying. KB Kookmin Bank raised the rate on its flagship product, KB Star Fixed Deposit, for maturities of at least one year but less than two years from 3.4% to 3.5% per annum starting the previous day. Woori Bank also increased the one-year rate on its flagship product, WON Plus Deposit, from 3.4% to 3.5% per annum on the 18th.
