Still Active at 100: Hanwha General Insurance Honors FP with 43 Years of Service

[Financial News] Kim Suk-ja, an insurance planner (FP) with Hanwha General Insurance who turned 100 this year, has been honored in recognition of her 43 years of sales activity.
Hanwha General Insurance said on the 22nd that it had invited FP Kim Suk-ja to 63 SQUARE in Seoul's Yeouido and held a "Hanwha General Insurance 100-Year Legacy FP" tribute ceremony. Chae-beom Na, CEO of Hanwha General Insurance, along with key executives and Kim's family, attended the event.
Born in 1926, Kim joined Hanwha General Insurance in 1983 and remained on the front lines of insurance sales for 43 years. She successively received long-service awards for 20, 30 and 40 years of activity. Even at 100, she continues to work actively, reporting to her branch and signing new contracts.
Hanwha General Insurance organized the event to commemorate Kim's experience of working alongside customers in the field for many years and to convey the significance of long-term service to younger insurance planners.
Kim Suk-ja said, "The years I have spent with Hanwha General Insurance customers have already reached 43 years." She added, "I am happy that the company and my family have recognized that time as a beautiful legacy."
Hanwha General Insurance operates professional training and field-support programs to promote long-term service among its captive FPs and strengthen their sales capabilities. The company is also enhancing communication with FPs and sales-support capabilities through its branch manager training program, while continuing to run organizational culture programs.
A Hanwha General Insurance official said, "This event honors the legacy of FP Kim Suk-ja, who remains active at 100, as part of the company's heritage." The official added, "We will continue building a culture in which members of our field sales family can take pride and remain active for many years."
