Suncheon City to Operate Major Tourist Attractions as Usual During Chuseok Holiday

【Financial News | Suncheon = Reporter Hwang Tae-jong】Suncheon City will operate major tourist attractions, including Suncheonman National Garden, Suncheonman Bay, Naganeupseong Walled Town, and Suncheon Open Film Set, as usual during the Chuseok holiday for people returning to their hometowns and tourists.
 A Suncheon City official emphasized, "This Chuseok holiday is the perfect opportunity to enjoy Suncheon's rich nature, traditions and atmosphere all in one place. We will make sure that both people returning to their hometowns and tourists can relax, feel fulfilled and leave Suncheon refreshed."
 According to Suncheon City on the 22nd, the "Chuseok in the Garden" event will first be held at Suncheonman National Garden, Korea's first national garden. Set against a backdrop of autumn flowers and dense trees, the event will feature fusion Korean traditional music performances, traditional games and cultural activities, photo zones and other programs designed to delight visitors' eyes and ears.
 At Suncheonman Bay, a World Natural Heritage Site, visitors can observe hooded cranes and explore pristine mudflats along a deck path through golden reed fields while enjoying a healing walk during the Chuseok holiday.
 At Naganeupseong Walled Town, where residents still live amid buildings preserved in the style of the Joseon Dynasty, regular performances will be held on weekends and during the holiday. They will offer the tranquil atmosphere characteristic of the holiday season along with a rich array of traditional attractions.
 At Sunyang Theater at Suncheon Open Film Set, which recreates scenes from the 1960s through the 1980s, a special performance titled "Nostalgic Music Album" will be staged. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of traditional games throughout the film set, including giant yut-nori, ttakji flipping and spinning tops. Old-fashioned school uniforms and period music will evoke nostalgia for parents while offering children a fresh Newtro experience.
 Suncheon City is also offering practical transportation benefits to make it easier for visitors to get around. For four days starting on the 24th, the "Special City Tour Route" connecting Suncheonman National Garden and Suncheon Open Film Set will run twice a day. The fare is 1,000 won per person. Individual tourists can also receive a 50% discount through the "Suncheon Tourist Taxi Autumn Half-Price Discount" program when using designated tourist taxis.
 In addition, visitors wearing hanbok will be granted free admission to major tourist attractions for three days starting on the 24th. Cultural tourism interpreters will also be stationed at each attraction to provide a pleasant and safe sightseeing environment.
