Arirang TV is a global broadcasting channel that introduces diverse content about Korea's culture, travel, and arts, including K-pop, in English.
Under the new service, SOOP users can watch Arirang TV programs live around the clock, including the K-pop program 'Simply K-Pop,' the K-beauty program 'Beauty On and Off,' and 'K-Culture Minutes,' which introduces Korean culture and trends.
SOOP will also integrate its real-time communication features. Users can chat in real time with streamers and other viewers while watching Arirang TV content. With AI chat translation, domestic and international users who speak different languages can immediately understand one another's chat messages.
SOOP has provided live streaming from major Korean broadcasters, including Maeil Broadcasting Network (MBN), JTBC, YTN (Yonhap Television News), Yonhap News TV, and TV CHOSUN, gradually expanding its broadcast content to include news, entertainment, and informational programming. Through the Arirang TV service, the company plans to expand its live offerings to include English-language content and strengthen content targeting global users.
SOOP also plans to broaden its cooperation with Arirang TV. It will pursue various initiatives that combine Arirang TV's content with the characteristics of SOOP's platform, including promotions featuring major programs and cast members.
