[Financial News] President Donald Trump's job approval rating has fallen to 32%, its lowest level across his first and second terms.
British media reported on the 21st (local time) that "a poll conducted with Ipsos among 1,277 adults across the United States from the 18th to the 21st found that President Trump's job approval rating had fallen 3 percentage points from 35% a week earlier."
British media noted, "Even Republican supporters are dissatisfied with the cost of living as the war in Iran drives up gas prices." In fact, only 17% of respondents approved of President Trump's policies on everyday prices.
Even among Republican supporters, only 44% gave a positive assessment of his handling of the cost of living, compared with 51% who gave a negative assessment. This was the first time that negative evaluations of the Republican Party's response to everyday prices had outnumbered positive ones among its supporters.
President Trump's job approval rating among Republicans fell to 73%, down 9 percentage points from 82% a week earlier.
