Bando Construction Launches '100-Day Accident-Free Campaign' to Achieve Eight Consecutive Years of Zero Serious Accidents

[Financial News] Following seven consecutive years without serious accidents, Bando Construction has launched company-wide efforts to strengthen safety management and promote win-win cooperation with partner companies in pursuit of an eighth consecutive year.
Bando Construction announced on the 22nd that it held a launch ceremony for its '100-Day Accident-Free Campaign' to raise safety awareness and strengthen accident-prevention activities at construction sites nationwide.
The campaign was organized to closely manage high-risk factors identified through an analysis of accidents that occurred last year, including collisions, being struck by objects and falls, while strengthening voluntary safety practices at each site. The company will designate each type of accident as a monthly theme for prevention campaigns and continue raising its safety management standards by sharing best practices after the campaign concludes at the end of the year. The launch ceremony also included awards for exemplary workers and partner companies, as well as joint labor-management safety inspections at the headquarters and construction sites.
In addition, Bando Construction held the '2026 UBORA Partners Day' at the Dongtan Ivy Lounge of the Bando Cultural Foundation to promote communication and mutual growth with partner companies. The event, renamed from the previous partner-company meeting, was attended by Lee Jeong-ryeol, head of Bando Construction's Construction Division, as well as company executives and department heads, along with representatives and executives from 30 partner companies. The program included updates on business conditions, presentations on best practices involving new technologies and construction methods to improve safety and quality management, and awards for outstanding partner companies. Participants also exchanged views on continued joint technology development and stronger cooperative relationships.
Bando Construction is working to establish a strong safety culture by expanding communication with partner companies that carry out construction work alongside the company at its sites and by conducting safety management activities involving employees from both the headquarters and construction sites. As a result, the company achieved seven consecutive years without serious accidents as of last year. This year, it is strengthening on-site safety management and prevention efforts with the goal of reaching eight consecutive years.
Lee Jeong-ryeol, head of Bando Construction's Construction Division, said, "We are making steady efforts to build a shared understanding with partner companies about the importance of safety management, as they carry out actual construction work alongside us at our sites," and added, "With the belief that win-win management is safety management, we will work with our partner companies to extend the record of zero serious accidents to eight consecutive years."
