KT to launch 'AI for All' beta in October...16-company collaboration framework activated

[Financial News] KT will launch the 'AI for All' beta service in October. The company plans to accelerate the development of AI services that people can experience in their daily lives by defining the roles of the 16 companies participating in the KT consortium, from setting major business directions and planning services to integrating AI models, data, and infrastructure.
KT said it held the launch ceremony for the 'AI for All' consortium at KT Gwanghwamun West Building in Jongno District, Seoul, on the 21st. Representatives of major companies in the KT consortium and project managers from the 16 participating companies attended the event to share the business vision and implementation plans.

KT will operate the Ieum Alliance, a partnership that combines the technologies and service capabilities of the participating companies. Its goal is to create AI services that anyone can use easily and conveniently in daily life.
The Ieum Alliance will operate around the Ieum Connect Board, a decision-making body that determines major business directions, and the Ieum Eco Round, an organization-wide consultative body. The alliance will jointly manage key schedules and service launch targets while coordinating collaborative projects and major issues among participating organizations.
The Ieum Connect Board will discuss business directions, priorities, and collaborative projects among the organizations. Experts and working-level managers from each field will participate to flesh out service launch targets and cooperation plans. The Ieum Eco Round, which includes all participating organizations, will regularly review key achievements and business milestones.

The business will be implemented through two divisions focused on services and platforms. The services division will handle user-centered AI service planning, user experience (UX) design, and the development and launch of public and specialized services. The platform division will coordinate and integrate core technologies, including AI models, Token Factory, data, infrastructure, and application programming interfaces (APIs).
The KT consortium plans to launch the AI for All beta service in October based on its 'Ieum Inside' strategy. Ieum Inside is an open AI ecosystem strategy that embeds AI into the various services people already use and connects them through a single general-purpose AI agent. It will operate as an open structure so that new AI model and service companies can continue to join.
'AI for All' is a business that provides various AI models and services on a single platform. Through AI integrated into the platforms and services they already use, people will be able to access not only information-search tools but also services in areas such as public services, education, finance, and everyday convenience.
