Busan Environmental Corporation Delivers Donated Goods to Welfare Facilities Ahead of Chuseok

[Financial News] Busan Environmental Corporation, a public institution under Busan Metropolitan City, said on the 22nd that it had visited welfare facilities for children and people with disabilities ahead of Chuseok and donated daily necessities and monetary contributions worth a total of 7 million won as part of its holiday sharing campaign.
The initiative was made more meaningful because the funds came from social contribution donations that employees had voluntarily pooled each month. Donations and daily necessities collected by the corporation's headquarters and 18 business units and offices were delivered to eight welfare facilities in the area, including Chongdeogwon and Inhyewon.
The corporation reviewed each facility's needs in advance and delivered customized items, including toilet paper, laundry detergent, hygiene products and food supplies that were actually needed on site.
Each business unit and office also identified and carried out voluntary social contribution activities tailored to local conditions and welfare needs, extending a helping hand to communities throughout the area.
Lee Geun-hee, president of Busan Environmental Corporation, said, "As we celebrate the Chuseok holiday, I hope this will provide even a small measure of help so that our neighbors in the community can enjoy a warmer and more abundant holiday," adding, "We will continue to fulfill our social responsibilities as a public corporation and put into practice the values of sharing and mutual growth together with citizens."
