[Financial News] Advanced optical solutions company CoAsia CM said on the 22nd that all executives of its wholly owned subsidiary, CoAsia CM Korea, had purchased CoAsia CM shares, joining the company’s efforts to strengthen responsible management.
According to the Data Analysis, Retrieval and Transfer System (DART) that day, five executives of CoAsia CM Korea acquired CoAsia CM shares through open-market purchases. The move followed share purchases by CoAsia CM’s CEO and executives in July, with executives at the subsidiary now joining in.
CoAsia CM has remained profitable for six consecutive quarters, driven by structural improvements in its mobile optical lens business. The company is stabilizing the profitability of its existing optical business while accelerating efforts to secure next-generation growth engines.
Its subsidiary, CoAsia CM Korea, recently began mass production and supply of Time-of-Flight (ToF)-based 3D-sensing camera modules. Building on this foundation, it is entering the global robotics supply chain and expanding its business into physical artificial intelligence (AI) and robotic vision.
CoAsia CM is working to enhance corporate value by improving its stock- and finance-related systems for shareholder value enhancement and continuing share purchases by its management team.
A CoAsia CM official said, "The decision by the executives of our subsidiary, who lead our future businesses, to join the share purchases following the company’s management team demonstrates our commitment to responsible management focused on mid- to long-term growth and enhancing corporate value. We will sustain our earnings growth, expand the results of our shareholder-friendly policies and future growth businesses, and repay the market’s trust."
