"Arrive Before Chuseok"—Gmarket Targets Last-Minute Demand with Star Delivery Section

[Financial News] Gmarket is targeting last-minute holiday shopping demand by featuring products that can be delivered right up until Chuseok.
According to Gmarket on the 22nd, customers who order products from the "Hangawi Big Sale Star Delivery section" by midnight that night can receive them before the Chuseok holiday. Star Delivery is Gmarket's delivery service, which guarantees that products will arrive on the date provided to customers at the time of purchase. However, the guaranteed arrival date may vary in some regions depending on logistics-center and courier conditions.
The Star Delivery section features everything from holiday gift sets to daily necessities and food needed during the holiday period. The "Thoughtfully Prepared Hangawi Gifts: Popular Gift Sets" section offers popular products across categories such as processed foods, health products, luxury beauty, and body and hair care. Daily necessities, food, and health-functional products that are in high demand during the holiday period are also available.
Additional discount coupons are being offered on the final day of the Hangawi Big Sale. They can be used in combination with existing coupons offering discounts of up to 200,000 won. A 2,000-won coupon will be provided for purchases of 20,000 won or more across all products. For mart products, customers can also receive a 5% discount coupon offering up to 5,000 won off purchases of 40,000 won or more.
The same-day grocery delivery section will operate normally throughout the holiday period, except on Chuseok, September 25. Gmarket's Emart Mall and Traders products will be available for early-morning and daytime delivery on the 24th, with orders available again starting with early-morning delivery on the 26th.
A Gmarket spokesperson said, "For customers who have not yet prepared their holiday gifts, the Hangawi Big Sale Star Delivery section, which carefully selects products guaranteed to arrive just before the holiday, could be a good option. The same-day delivery section will also operate normally during the Chuseok holiday, so we hope many customers will use it, as they can shop through Emart and purchase large-size products from Traders."
