Dong-A ST Selected as Outstanding Human Resources Development Company

[Financial News] Dong-A ST was selected as an outstanding company in a government certification program evaluating talent recruitment and development and its human resources management system.
Dong-A ST announced on the 22nd that it had been selected as an outstanding company in the large private-sector company category at the 2026 Best HRD certification award ceremony.
The Outstanding Human Resources Development Institution certification is a program jointly certified by the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL), Ministry of Education, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), and Ministry of SMEs and Startups. It is administered by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea. The program evaluates ability-based talent recruitment and management, as well as employee education and training, to certify institutions with strong human resources development capabilities.
Following document and on-site reviews, Dong-A ST underwent quantitative and qualitative evaluations covering human resource management (HRM) and human resource development (HRD). The company explained that it was recognized for establishing a fair personnel system based on 'Happiness Management' and operating talent development programs that support employee growth.
Centered on the Happiness Management Office, Dong-A ST operates a personnel system linking recruitment, evaluations, promotions, and placements based on three core competency models: common, leadership, and job competencies. Through its competency assessment system (AC), the company evaluates performance and leadership capabilities and provides differentiated compensation based on performance.
For talent development, the company operates companywide '1on1 meetings,' in which leaders and employees hold regular discussions. These meetings cover employees' competency development and career goals while linking individual growth with organizational performance.
Dong-A ST also offers job training tailored to the characteristics of the pharmaceutical industry. Alongside specialized programs such as 'GMP School' and 'MR Training,' its 'Sales Han Day and Production Han Day' programs allow employees to directly experience work in other divisions, including R&D, sales, and production. These programs enhance their understanding of operations and their ability to collaborate across departments.
