LH to Hire 235 New Employees in Second Half of Year; Applications Accepted Through 29th

[Financial News] Korea Land and Housing (LH) will publicly recruit 235 new Grade 5 and Grade 6 employees in the second half of this year. Applications will be accepted from the 22nd through the 29th, with final candidates scheduled to be selected in December following written tests and interviews.
According to LH on the 22nd, the recruitment includes 211 Grade 5 positions and 24 Grade 6 positions. By job category, 74 administrative employees and 161 technical employees will be hired.
In principle, there are no restrictions on applicants' educational background, age or work experience.
However, applicants for Grade 5 technical positions and certain administrative positions must hold engineer-level certifications.
Grade 6 applicants must be high school graduates or expected graduates.
The document screening process will assess only quantifiable criteria, such as language test scores and certifications.
To reduce the burden on job seekers, personal statements will not be collected during the application stage. Only those who pass the written screening will be required to submit them. The statements will be used as reference materials during interviews.
People of national merit and people with disabilities will be selected through separate recruitment categories in accordance with statutory mandatory employment quotas. LH explained that the measure is intended to improve the effectiveness of social-equity hiring and support stable entry into society for employment-vulnerable groups.
The written test will be held on October 25, followed by interviews in November. Final successful candidates will be announced in December and appointed as hiring-track interns within the year.
An online recruitment briefing will also be held through KakaoTalk open chat rooms for two days starting on the 22nd, the first day of application submissions. Detailed eligibility requirements and selection procedures are available in the recruitment notice posted on the LH website.
Last year, LH hired 472 Grade 5 and Grade 6 new employees, 170 Grade 7 new employees and 826 youth interns in experience-based positions. In the first half of this year, it recruited 262 Grade 5 and Grade 6 employees, 187 Grade 7 employees and 820 youth interns.
“This is an important time when we must focus all our capabilities on implementing the government's expanded housing supply policy without a hitch and achieving housing stability for the public,” LH President Lee Seong-hoon said. “We plan to inject vitality into the field and accelerate housing supply by hiring outstanding talent with professional expertise.”
